The project was intended to support Bhutan in addressing local energy demand and national energy security and contribute to socioeconomic development. The project’s expected impact was sustained inclusive economic growth by widening access to reliable and affordable clean energy services. Its intended outcome was expanded coverage and mix of clean energy supply in a sustainable manner.
