The project aimed to remove the infrastructure bottleneck along the northern transport corridor connecting West Sepik Province (WSP) with Papua Province of Indonesia. It was also geared toward improving WSP’s business environment to take advantage of potential opportunities offered by the fast-growing Asian economies for growth, development, and employment.
