The project aimed to rehabilitate and upgrade existing and deteriorated rural infrastructure, irrigation structures, and associated rural roads. It sought to create critical masses of productive rural infrastructure in identified areas with potentials to increase agricultural outputs, promote crop diversification, and increase production efficiency.
