The loan to Bank of Georgia (BOG), the second largest bank in Georgia, is considered an indirect coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response as it will assist sustainable businesses through continued access to finance by facilitating maintenance and growth of BOG lending to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), providing critically needed funding to companies that have been affected by the pandemic’s economic fallout.
