Manitoba Hydro International (MHI) was contracted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to perform studies to develop a regional power master plan for the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). The planning period is from 2022 to 2035. Power master plan recommends options for GMS regional power trade to meet the requirements and facilitate the investigation of “Harmonizing the GMS Power Systems to Facilitate Regional Power Trade” under the ADB technical assistantship (TA) 8830.
