ADB will support CARD’s plan to expand its funding to finance the working capital needs of low-income micro-borrowers in the Philippines. This customer segment, in general, has been particularly impacted by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. ADB’s loan to CARD will assist with implementing measures under a gender action plan (GAP) in the Philippines to further expand access to credit for women.
