Asia’s recovery from the pandemic faces multiple challenges: Russia’s invasion of Ukraine threatens food and energy security; policy tightening has led to slowing global demand, capital outflows, depreciation, and challenges to debt sustainability; globalization and multilateralism are at risk of fracturing; and the need for action on climate change has become more urgent. The panel discussed what policies should be prioritized to ensure that the region’s rebound remains resilient.
