Sunny Neelam is Administrative Assistant for the North American Representative Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Sunny joined ADB in August 2021 and has over 6 years of work experience in Washington DC, Mumbai, and Hyderabad (India).
He has worked in diverse sectors at the intersection of business, technology, and civil society. Sunny previously worked in consulting including with the World Bank, Medtronic, and UN Salesian Representation.
Prior to his consulting experience, he worked as a Business Analyst for CC Commodity Info Services LLP and co-founded a social enterprise called Common Good Enterprises. He has also worked and volunteered with various NGOs, including Barefoot College, Don Bosco Navjeevan Society, Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (MKSS), and Science for Society.
His areas of interest include impact investment, social entrepreneurship, grassroots livelihood generation, ICT for development, SME sector, frugal innovations, public-private partnership models, renewable energy, and decentralized economic development.
Sunny holds a Master’s Degree in International Development and Developmental Economics with a certification in Social Innovation from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
