Established in 1966, ADB has committed $323.17 billion in loans toward the vision of an Asia and Pacific region free of poverty. Singapore is a founding member of ADB.
ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa and Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat officially opened ADB’s new office in Singapore.
ADB is targeting private sector operations to comprise one-third of total operations in number by 2024. To achieve this, private sector projects will include smaller, riskier projects that are innovative, complex, and in challenging markets and sectors.
