Description This knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will support the timely and coordinated generation and delivery of knowledge solutions and policy advice to developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and subregional entities, to promote inclusive growth and increase ADB's operational efficiency and policy impact. It will also enhance the impact of ADB's knowledge products, services, and support in Southeast Asia, and facilitate DMCs collaboration with solutions providers from the private sector, academia, and research institutes.
Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The TA is included in approved Country Operations Business Plans and supports ADB's Strategy 2030 operational priorities of addressing poverty, reducing inequalities, making cities more livable, tackling climate change, and fostering regional cooperation and integration
Impact

(i) The efficacy of Southeast Asian DMCs' projects, programs, and policies bolstered, supporting Southeast Asian DMCs' and subregional entities' work to promote inclusive growth and advance green, resilient, and sustainable economic recovery amidst and in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic

(ii) The use of ADB's KPS and knowledge solutions among Southeast Asian DMCs and subregional entities improved, and engagement broadened between (a) DMCs and subregional entities; and (b) solution providers from the private sector, academia, civil society, and research institutes

Outcome Southeast Asian DMCs and regional entities are better positioned to assess and adopt knowledge solutions that can grapple with priority development challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and strengthen relevant policies and regulations
