Description The TA will prepare a sector investment project for the development of the small scale water resources sector consistent with the Bangladesh National Water Policy. The TA will comprise the following major activities: (i) review relevant water sector policy documents and water sector activities; (ii) undertake an institutional capacity analyses of the organizations and institutions presently involved in or with a mandate for small scale water sector development, (iii) review and update the completed appraisal studies on sample subprojects, (iv) recommend ways to operationalize the integrated water management concept through an appropriate institutional framework; (iv) define activities to be undertaken within the context of the sector project; and (v) develop a sector investment package for sustainable small-scale water management interventions.
