Description The proposed loan will establish the Air Pollution Control Facility under the Metro Manila Air Quality Improvement Sector Development Program. The Facility will complement other Program components aimed at strengthening compliance monitoring and subsequent enforcement of emission standards for polluting industries as well as the transport sector. The Facility will be used to contribute to the funding of air pollution monitoring equipment for individual or groups of industries, the installation of pollution abatement equipment or, in the case of the transport sector, investments in the rehabilitation of the public transport fleet.
