The program is supporting a broad range of initiatives, including upgrading the payment, clearance, and settlement systems; improving public financial information disclosure; and establishing a credit information bureau.

Its overall aim is to promote the development of a sound, market-based financial system to support resource mobilization and sustainable economic growth - one of the core objectives of Cambodia's 5-year National Strategic Development Plan.
