| Progress Toward Outcome | 1. KOSRAE. OIDP components delivered in Kosrae include:" upgraded stream intake works, a new 30,000 gallon treated water reservoir, and a new water treatment plant located adjacent at Utwe with a capacity to deliver 175,000 gallons of filtered and chlorinated water per day to the residents of Utwe (based on a design population of 1439 people by 2030);" approximately 9,500 feet of new water transmission and distribution mains in Utwe;" 210 new connections to the Utwe water supply system; and" provision of water operations manager to the Kosrae Utilities Authority (KUA) for a period of approximately 13 months.2. POHNPEI. OIDP components delivered in Pohnpei include:" Inflow and Infiltration Study to identify areas within the existing Kolonia sewerage network requiring remediation to eliminate stormwater inflows to the sewerage systems the primary cause of sewage overflows from the sewerage network;" rehabilitation and augmentation of the existing Kolonia WWTP to provide tertiary treatment and increase the WWTP treatment capacity to 1.6 million gallons per day." complete refurbishment and augmentation of all (6 No.) existing pump/lift stations;" conversion of two ejector stations to lift pumping stations;" rehabilitation of the existing sewerage reticulation system based on the findings of the Inflow and Infiltration Study; " expansion of the Kolonia sewerage network to Dekehtik Island; and" operations and maintenance management (OMM) of the rehabilitated sewer system by the contractor engaged to rehabilitate and augment the WWTP for one year period from the date of commissioning of the WWTP works.3. CHUUK. OIDP components delivered in Chuuk include:" supply and installation of 2 No. 1.2MW containerized medium speed diesel generators and associated equipment;" replacement of approximately 47,200 feet of electricity distribution mains with new power poles, conductor cables, transformers, service connections, and other associated electricity distribution equipment;" environmental remediation of the Weno power station site include removal of debris and contaminated oil and soil; and" provision of operation and maintenance management consultantsYAP. In Yap, OIDP has:" rehabilitated the water supply wells at Tomil, installed chlorination facilities at the well field, and constructed an office and pump and chlorination control room;" installed approximately 62,500 feet of new water mains;" constructed 2 water supply production wells in Maap; and" installed service connections to 120 households in Maap. |
