Sri Lanka : Small and Medium Enterprise Development II
The purpose of SMESDP II is to further promote the growth and sustainability of SMEs in Sri Lanka. The TA will support: (i) policy reforms for SME development and economic growth; (ii) the improvement of industrial technology to increase competitiveness and export trade for SMEs; (iii) increase access to commercial finance for SMEs; (iv) the improvement of the enabling environment for SMEs; and (v) the infrastructure for the manufacturing and marketing of SME products.

| Consulting Services | TA will be implemented over a five month period commencing in July 2005. A team of 4 international consultants and 4 national consultants will provide a total of 21 person-months of consulting services. A team of international consultants from a firm will be recruited in accordance with ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants. National consultants will be engaged in accordance with procedures satisfactory to ADB. |
