Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy | Water resources development has been a major area of ADB?s assistance to Indonesia, totaling over $1.5 billion in loans and TAs. Promoting sustainable use of water resources in-line with the ADB ?Water for All? policy is a key element of ADB?s operational partnership with Indonesia. During the 2003 country programming mission of the ADB the Government of Indonesia requested technical assistance (TA) to prepare an integrated water resources management project for the Citarum basin. |
