Uzbekistan : Kashkadarya and Navoi Rural Water Supply Project
The objective of the TA is to help the Government prepare a project suitable for ADB financing by assessing the technical, environmental, financial, economic, social, and institutional feasibility of the project to (i) increase drinking water supply and water quality in the project areas; and (ii) promote health and sustainable economic development. The TA will identify institutional capacity-building measures, including policy reforms, to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project and related facilities.

| Consulting Services | Total consultants input is estimated at 72 person-months (pm) - 12 international and 60 domestic. The consultants will be engaged through a firm in accordance with ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants and Its Borrowers, based on the quality-and cost-based selection method and other arrangements satisfactory to ADB for engaging domestic consultants. The consultants will have expertise in water supply development, sanitation, tariff analysis, financial and economic analysis, institutional development, social analysis and poverty impact assessment, and environmental matters. |
