Lao People's Democratic Republic : Second Northern Greater Mekong Subregion Transport Network Improvement Project (Additional Financing)

The Asian Development Bank is working with the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Viet Nam to upgrade roads in the northeastern transport corridor. The project is improving 340 kilometers of roads, which form part of a corridor stretching from Thanh Hoa in northern Viet Nam, through Lao PDR, to Bangkok, Thailand. It is expected to boost transport efficiency as well as economic activities in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
