Kyrgyz Republic: Investment Climate Improvement Program (Subprogram 1)
ADB is supporting the Kyrgyz Republic's drive to achieve higher, broad-based growth by improving the business climate. The program will focus on reforms that will reduce entry and exit barriers and compliance costs for businesses. It will improve access to finance for small and medium-sized businesses. It will also develop a policy and regulatory framework for public-private partnerships.

Procurement | Program grant proceeds will be used to finance the foreign exchange cost of items produced and procured in ADB member countries, other than items specified in the list of ineligible items or imports financed by other bilateral and multilateral sources. All procurement under the program grant will be undertaken through normal commercial practices for the private sector of the Government's prescribed procurement procedures acceptable to ADB, with due consideration to economy and efficiency. The Government will certify that the volume of eligible imports exceeds the amount of ADB's projected disbursement under the grant for the given period. The disbursement of the program grant will be in accordance with Simplification of Disbursement Procedures and Related Requirements for Program Loans (1998). ADB reserves the right to audit the use of program grant proceeds and verify the accuracy of the Government's certification. |
