Regional : Supporting the Implementation of the Energy Efficiency Initiative in Developing Member Countries
The goal of the TA is to decrease the rate of climate change and improve energy security in DMCs in the Asia Pacific Region through greater use of clean energy. The outcome of the RETA will be achieved by promoting policies, practices, and investments that reduce emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) decrease energy intensity by industry, commercial buildings, municipalities, agriculture, and transport sectors increase ADB lending operations to promote the use of clean energy increase the use of non polluting clean energy sources and better provision of energy services needed for economic growth and improving peoples' lives and living standards in Asia Pacific.
