Objectives and Scope
Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy As Georgia just became an ADB member country earlier this year, ADB does not have a Country Strategy in place yet. The proposed transaction forms an integral part of ADB s move into this new market. The Georgian Government is fully supportive of ADB s involvement in the financial sector as its first intervention in the country.
