Impact

The successful progress and impact already achieved by the TA and the strong ownershiop of the Executing Agency represents an opportunity to further expand the irrigation services delivery reform process and strengthen CIDP investments sustainabililty.

Project Outcome
Description of Outcome

The expansion of the TA activities to additional irrigation schemes is desirable to further strengthen the reform. WUAs have to develop as self-sufficient business entities with partnerships with the private sector. The formation and strengthening of higher level Farmers' Organization are major activities identified for the TA expansion phase.
