Samoa : Economic Recovery Support Program (Subprogram 1)
ADB is assisting Samoa's economic recovery and efforts to achieve sustainable growth, following the double impact of the global economic crisis and the 2009 tsunami. The first project under the program will undertake post-tsunami reconstruction, help boost economic activity and productivity, strengthen fiscal management, improve social protection, and engage key stakeholders in public policy.

Samoa: Rebounding Together from Dual Crises
Samoa was hit by a devastating tsunami at the same time as it was suffering from the effects of the global financial crisis. The country’s partnership with ADB was a critical factor in recovering from the twin disasters.
