Pakistan : Pakistan Floods (2010) Damage and Needs Assessment
The proposed S-PATA will support the Government of Pakistan to prepare a Damage and Needs Assessment (DNA) of the recent floods in Pakistan.
The S-PATA will support the Government efforts to estimate the damage and reconstruction needs of the 2010 Floods. The assessment will provide strategic guidelines to inform the reconstrcution and rehabilitation planning in key sectors of the economy by regional, national, and international institutions.

| Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities, and Issues) | All sector Teams have completed their respective assignments in close collaboration with the Government counterparts. The Government has provided primary and secondary data on the Flood damages. Satellite Images and baseline data obtained was analyzed. The DNA Sector teams undertook field visits to verify the data. The report with damage and needs figures has been developed and endorsed by the government. The report has been printed and widely circulated across all stakeholders. Activities under the TA completed. CTIS in process of closing out TA account by 30 August 2011. |

| Consulting Services | As the TA was supporting flood emergency, for expediency only individual consultants were hired, either directly or through firm using the ICS. COSO delegated the approvals for hiring consultants below the monthly rate of $6000 to PRM. All consultant hiring was to be completed between 15 October to 15 November 2011. |
