Viet Nam : Public Private Partnership Support Project
The project entails the use of an ADF project loan of $20 million to fund the establishment of a Project Development Facility (PDF) that would help bring bankable PPP projects to the market. The PDF would be used by government ministries / project sponsors to fund PPP project preparation activities which include pre-feasibility studies, full feasibility studies and the engagement of transaction advisors who would structure deals to bring to the private sector for bidding.

A medium term capacity building has been developed PPP Steering Committee has been established under the chairmanship of a Deputy Prime Minister Decree 15 on PPP and Decree 30 on investor selection were issued in 2015. PDF guideline was issued in April 2017 A decree 15 on PPP has provision on SOE participation. |
