Objectives and Scope | The Fund provide investors with stable, long-term capital growth and cash distributions by investing in water and water-related assets in various subsectors of the water industry. | ||||
Status of Development Objectives | The Fund increased the flow of investments in and expertise into water-related initiatives, expanded and improved water infrastructure in in targeted DMCs, and improved investee financial performance and governance. | ||||
Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy | ADB's 'Water for All' policy recognizes that, as a resource, water must be managed to meet needs without causing conflict or stressing natural resources. It recognizes that innovative and cooperative financing efforts are crucial for the success of water projects. |
