A number of outputs to date have been produced under the TA to support evidence-based sector reform policy-making. These include: (i) infrastructure asset management plans, (ii) service level monitoring sheets for Dili and target district capitals. To support evaluation of public-private partnership arrangements in the urban water supply sector, the TA produced a technical evaluation of infrastructure investments and operational cost estimates for the Dili water supply network.

The TA has also supported a number of learning events to raise awareness on water and sanitation sector from other ADB developing member countries including: (i) Asia Water Week, and consultations with Manila Water, MWSS and LWUA, (ii) Participation in the Asia Sanitation Dialogue, and (iii) Armenia water sector reform learning visit. The TA has also funded a resource person to update the District Capitals Water supply and Sanitation master plans and conduct several workshops.
