Description of Outcome Competitive market for social and financial performance ratings for MCCs
Progress Toward Outcome Draft final reports from the three rating agencies have been submitted to ADB and EA for review. Final workshop was conducted and the results of the individual rating reports have been submitted to microcredit companies.

Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities, and Issues)

Consultant recruitment has been completed. The inception meeting and workshop took place in December 2013.

The due diligence and review of the MCCs have been carried out from June to September in 2014. Draft rating reports have been submitted by rating agencies and are being reviewed by ADB and EA.

Final workshop took place on 2-6 February 2015. The final workshop was held to present the summary of findings based on the 15 rating results of MCCs in Heilongjiang province.

Consulting Services Three firms will be contracted to develop ratings under the consultants qualification selection method. ADB will engage the consultants in accordance with its Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2010, as amended from time to time).
