Project Outcome
Description of Outcome
Progress Toward Outcome Nineteen ADB member economies participated in the RCDTA. To achieve the desired outcome, the TA accomplished the following activities: (i) inception workshop; (ii) training on the 2008 system of national accounts; (iii) regional training on updating and constructing of the benchmark national SUTs based on the 2008 SNA recommendations; and (iv) publication of the compendium of SUT for selected economies in Asia and the Pacific.

Description of Project Outputs
Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities, and Issues) Conducting regional and in-country technical discussions, workshops, and training for national accounts staff, statisticians, and economists in DMCs on compiling and updating SUT and GDP aggregates following the 2008 SNA recommendations. Currently a technical review and training on the applications of input-output tables, time series supply and use tables in Cambodia, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are underway.

During Project Design 21 DMCs was proposed to participate in the R-CDTA.
During Project Implementation 19 DMC is participating in this project.
Business Opportunities
Consulting Services The TA will be implemented from January 2015 to December 2018 and finance 80 person-months of consulting services: 6 months international and 74 months national. The consultants will be selected and engaged individually by ADB in accordance with ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2013, as amended from time to time).
Procurement ADB will procure computer hardware and software in accordance with its Procurement Guidelines (2013, as amended from time to time), and this equipment will be disposed of in accordance with instructions on administering grant-financed technical assistance. Disbursements of funds will be made in accordance with ADB Technical Assistance Disbursement Handbook, 2010 (as amended from time to time).
