The use of information and communication technologies in agriculture (alternatively referred to as eAgriculture) to improve access to information on (i) market data and analysis, (ii) area specific weather alerts, and (iii) improved technologies and techniques have increased productivity, efficiency and profitability of stakeholders along value chains. A properly set up and financially sustainable eAgriculture system through public-private partnership business model is essential for upscaling and sustaining the services. The proposed knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) is expected to enhance greater use of these high-level technologies in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.
