During Project Implementation | Yunnan Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone Development Project: A Consultant team composed of 20 specialists were mobilized on 4 Dec 2017 and inception mission fielded on 12-22 December 2017. Fact finding mission is scheduled in April 2019. All consultants inputs delivered and contracts completed by 31 May 2019. The contacts for Team Leader and Financial Analyst will have to be extended by 2 months as minor revisions are needed in the cost allocation calculations and procurement plan and some parts in the draft RRP. The Yunnan Lincang Project was approved on 10 December 2018. Xinjiang RCI Promotion Investment Program subproject: International and national consultants were engaged and mobilized; they conducted initial field surveys in July 2018. A pre-fact finding mission was fielded in October 2018; and loan fact-finding was conducted in January 2019 to prepare the proposed multi-tranche financing facility and tranche 1 documentation. Inner Mongolia Sustainable Cross-Border Development Investment Project: The reconnaissance mission was conducted in April 2019. An interim mission was fielded in July 2018 and loan fact-finding mission was fielded in September 2019. Project documentation is under preparation for ADB Management Review Meeting. A management review meeting was held on 29 January 2020 and the project is planned for Board consideration in October 2020.A project-specific procurement training was virtually delivered to the executing agencies, implementing agencies, project management office and project implementing entities, and the procurement agent on 18 March 2021 for the Inner Mongolia Sustainable Cross-Border Development Investment Program Tranche 1. The TA currently supports the start up implementation for the Inner Mongolia Sustainable Cross-Border Development Investment Program, Tranche 1. Legal specialist, implementation specialist, and procurement specialists were engaged to support the IMAR project management office. |
