Timor-Leste : Project Preparation I - Workforce and Skills Development Project
The project will support the Government of Timor-Leste to strengthen the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) system by (i) upgrading teaching and learning environments of selected key TVET institutions, (ii) improving the access to industry-aligned training opportunities in priority sectors (agriculture, manufacturing, construction), (iii) enhancing professional development of TVET teachers, (iv) strengthening the foundations of competency-based training by harmonizing standard development and subsequent curriculum development, preparing teaching and learning aids, including textbooks. Outcome is TVET system strengthened and aligned to the evolving labor market needs.
