Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy On 7 May 2018, the Government of Bangladesh requested the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for grant support to provide high-priority basic infrastructure and essential services to help address the humanitarian crisis caused by the arrival of the displaced persons. The project meets the requirements for emergency assistance financing
