The program, comprising three subprograms, targets improvements in the operational performance and financial sustainability of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and helps strengthen service delivery. Policy actions achieved under subprograms 1 and 2 have been sustained and are built upon by subprogram 3 actions. Policy reforms under subprogram 3, which is the final subprogram, will further strengthen legislative and policy frameworks for SOEs; enhance governance and transparency; and improve financial sustainability of priority SOEs.
