Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities, and Issues) NAREE Consulting Firm and one TA Coordinator were engaged by September 2021. Inception report was completed and shared with EA in December 2022. The inception workshop was conducted in March 2022. NAREE consultants fielded site visit and consultation to Yunnan after the inception workshop. Site visit to Guizhou was conducted in August 2022.

During Project Design A consultation meeting/fact finding mission with the Yunnan and Guizhou counterparts was conducted.
During Project Implementation Close consultation and collaboration for the duration of the TA's implementation period is expected with the two provinces, both Yunnan Provincial Government and Guizhou Provincial Government.
Business Opportunities
Consulting Services ADB will engage a consulting firm following ADB's Procurement Policy (2017, as amended from time to time) and its associated procurement staff instructions. The quality- and cost-based selection method (90:10) will be used and will require a simplified technical proposal.
