It will assist in the integration of gender design features to meet GEN/EGM requirements in the current COVID context. It will carry on with the activities of subprojects 1 and 2 that support the implementation of GAPs and reporting on gender equality results.
Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy Gender interventions designed in pre-COVID situations may not be enough to address the targeted gender issues in current COVID context. Continuous capacity development and technical guidance to EAs/IAs in the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of GAPs need to be sustained amidst the evolving new normal.
