Protecting and Investing in Natural Capital in Asia and the Pacific: Bio-Engineering Training Manual for Engineers

This training manual has been designed to provide the knowledge and skills in bio-engineering required by engineers in the Local Government Engineering Division (LGED) and staff engaged in other work on unstable slopes. This course is not designed to provide all the answers but aims to give a basic knowledge of bio-engineering that will enable engineers and staff to carry out their work more effectively. During the training, a range of reference material should be provided, and further references indicated. This material will enable them to investigate bio-engineering further.
