A climate change assessment (CCA) is the first part of a climate risk and vulnerability assessment (CRVA). A CCA covers an analysis of past observational and future estimated meteorological variables and indices – such as mean and maximum air temperature, rainfall and wind speed – which leads to identifying major climate challenges that have been affecting the city and are likely to affect it in the future.
