Outer Island Maritime Infrastructure Project (Third Additional Financing): Report and Recommendation of the President

The project is helping Tuvalu overcome domestic maritime connectivity constraints by (i) constructing small workboat harbors in the outer islands of Niutao, Nui, and Nukulaelae; (ii) rehabilitating boat ramps in Nanumaga and Niutao; (iii) strengthening the government’s capacity for operation and maintenance (O&M) of the harbors; and (iv) developing a transport sector master plan. The proposed additional financing will only fund cost overruns without changing the scope of the project.

The report and recommendation of the President to the Board of Directors (RRP) document describes the terms and conditions of a project for consideration and approval by ADB's Board of Directors.
