The project will provide long-term financing for a 100-megawatt (MW) grid-connected solar photovoltaic power project. The financing, being the first nonsovereign support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for a renewable power project in Uzbekistan, represents a meaningful engagement by ADB to mitigate climate change in line with Strategy 2030.

The report and recommendation of the President to the Board of Directors (RRP) document describes the terms and conditions of a project for consideration and approval by ADB's Board of Directors.
