Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the Northeastern Provinces Sector Project: Report and Recommendation of the President
Under the provincially managed multisector project covering the four northeastern provinces of Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, and Lang Son, locally prioritized basic infrastructure subprojects will be implemented. The subprojects will support economic connectivity among the provinces and improve the rural living standards of over 212,000 people through better (i) interprovincial commerce and rural accessibility by upgrading provincial and district roads, (ii) health through the construction of rural domestic water supply (RDWS) systems, (iii) incomes and livelihoods through strengthened agriculture and rural value chains (ARVCs), and (iv) sustainability of provincially owned infrastructure through the establishment of asset management systems.
The report and recommendation of the President to the Board of Directors (RRP) document describes the terms and conditions of a project for consideration and approval by ADB's Board of Directors. This document dated November 2017 is provided for the ADB project 49026-002 in Viet Nam.
