ADB Official Cofinancing with the Nordic Development Fund
This fact sheet provides an overview of the Nordic Development Fund's financing partnership with ADB, including its development goals in Asia.
ADB and the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) have worked together since the 1990s and currently have a grant portfolio of 17 projects amounting to almost €36.4 million. From 2009, the collaboration has focused on climate change-related projects.
The NDF provides financing for climate change interventions in low-income developing countries. NDF is the joint development finance institution of the Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden—and finances projects in cooperation with other development institutions.
