Does Adolescence Anemia Persist Over a Woman’s Life Cycle? Evidence from the Indonesian Family Life Survey

This study analyzes the determinants of anemia in Indonesian women throughout their life cycle.

By tracking a group of women from adolescence into adulthood, the study finds a high burden of anemia among women across income groups; that there is some persistence of anemia throughout their life cycle; and women’s income potential and economic status may be related to the prevalence of anemia.
