The Asian Development Outlook 1995 and 1996 is the seventh edition of the annual comprehensive economic report on ADB's 34 developing member countries.

This edition summarizes recent growth experience and future prospects for developing Asia against a background of current trends in the world economy. It has a section on mobilization of saving and the recent acceleration in capital inflows. Economic developments and prospects are analyzed for 34 economies in Asia and the Pacific, including Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic for the first time. This edition also assesses the historical and ongoing process of financial reform in several Asian countries. Policy initiatives are discussed and recommendations are made for future action.
