Publication | December 2020

This publication uses graphics to summarize gender statistics from the Marshall Islands to help inform policy and planning.

The resource supports the use of gender data for evidence-based policy making and rigorous monitoring and evaluation of progress toward transformative change. It also aims to encourage countries in the Pacific to continue to invest in data collection and research to strengthen capacity for gender analysis. It draws on the latest key data collections in the Marshall Islands, including the 2011 Population and Housing Census, the 2007 Demographic and Health Survey, the 2012 Family Health and Safety Study, the 2012 Labour Force Survey, and other data on education, health, and law enforcement.
