Sustainable Development, Environment and Poverty Nexus

This paper discusses the three major development problems the Asian-Pacific region is currently experiencing. Recognizing the importance of these measures, the Bank has appropriately assigned a high priority in the areas of economic growth, poverty alleviation, women in development and, environmental protection and natural resources management. If the developing countries of the region of subsidy on natural resources and agrochemicals and are able to mobilize new and additional sources of funding environmental programs and projects, it could be expected that such a change would occur even earlier.
