Supporting Transformational Adaptation through the Community Resilience Partnership Program

This technical note explains why ADB established the Community Resilience Partnership Program (CRPP) to scale up adaptation and reduce the growing impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations throughout the Asia and Pacific region.

It details the need for transformational change that addresses the underlying social, ecological, and political processes that increase vulnerability to climate shocks and stresses. It outlines how the CRPP will build capacity and provide funding and technical assistance to innovative, gender-responsive solutions in order to boost resilience and create more sustainable outcomes.
