ADB support to Uzbekistan is aligned with national development priorities towards industrial modernization and infrastructure development.
ADB continues to help bridge gaps in economic opportunity and reduce disparities in public services across Uzbekistan. In the medium term, ADB will support the economic expansion of Uzbekistan through industrial development, underpinning the longer-term objective of creating jobs and improving the livelihoods of rural residents. To attract private sector investment and expand access to financial resources for entrepreneurial purposes, ADB will continue to provide assistance for infrastructure development as a priority area for inclusive growth.
Uzbekistan has received 63 loans totaling $5.7 billion, including two private sector loans totaling $225 million, and $73.7 million in technical assistance grants from ADB.
