The ADB program in Uzbekistan has provided loans, grants and technical assistance to grow the country’s economy and improve the lives of people, particularly the poor, women, children and other vulnerable groups.

Since Uzbekistan joined ADB in 1995, the country has received $5.1 billion in loans and $64.9 million in technical assistance grants.

ADB continues to help bridge gaps in economic opportunity and reduce disparities in public services across Uzbekistan. In the medium term, ADB will support the economic expansion of Uzbekistan through industrial development, underpinning the longer-term objective of generating jobs growth and improving the livelihoods of rural residents.
