In the Spotlight
ADB is transitioning its procurement approach from “one size fits all” to “fit for purpose” to save time and bring private sector and hi-tech solutions into more projects.
Read this guide to know the policies and procedures for selecting, contracting, and monitoring consultants for loan and technical assistance projects financed by ADB.
These Guidelines have been provided to aid those in need of the policies that govern the procurement of goods, works, and services (other than consultant services) required for the project.
ADB engages individual consultants and consulting entities, including civil society organizations (CSOs) to provide expert advice such as in contract preparation and project supervision, and to help the ADB to prepare studies, appraisals, and reports.
