The framework sees ADB transition from a ‘one size fits all’ to a ‘fit for purpose’ approach to procurement in ADB-financed projects. With focus on quality and value for money, growth aspirations of developing member countries will be supported more effectively.
ADB engages individual consultants and consulting entities, including civil society organizations (CSOs) to provide expert advice such as in contract preparation and project supervision, and to help the ADB to prepare studies, appraisals, and reports.
