The purpose of the ADB Procurement Policy is to inform those carrying out ADB-financed projects of the policies that govern the procurement of goods, works, nonconsulting and consulting services required for the project.
ADB engages individual consultants and consulting entities, including civil society organizations (CSOs) to provide expert advice such as in contract preparation and project supervision, and to help the ADB to prepare studies, appraisals, and reports.
