Funds and Facilities for Climate Change

In 2018, ADB mobilized a total of $4.01 billion in total climate finance, with $2.73 billion (68%) expected to contribute to mitigating climate change and $1.29 billion (32%) to adaptation. ADB’s own resources provided $3.59 billion while external resources contributed $426 million.

External resources include bilateral sources, multilateral funds such as the Climate Investment Funds and the Global Environment Facility, and ADB-managed trust funds.
